6 years ago I attended my first New York Fashion Week. All I remember is thinking, how can we try and be chic in this shitty weather? Slugging around from show to show is part of the whole deal. The runway shows have unique energy to them but the best presentations are the staged sets. Models stand there for hours while assistants bring them water to sip through a straw quickly.
