SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT SCARPETTA RITTENHOUSE

We we're lucky to enough to have an insider look at the Scarpetta kitchen in Rittnehouse! First we learned about Italian wines at the bar downstairs. This space is breathtaking, comfortable yet chic. They offer Happy Hour Sunday to Friday 4-7pm. That's 3 WHOLE hours of happiness $6 bar sacks and 1/2 off wine, cocktails and beer.

Now we venture upstairs to the formal dining area and kitchen. Scarpetta is LDV Hospitality’s signature restaurant concept that first launched in New York’s Meatpacking District. We learned how to make their famous Spaghetti Tomato & Basil with Chef Mike. Their signature pastas are made in-house daily and are paired with the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients!

After we made our own pasta we got to cook it, sauce it up and eat it! We chose to pair our meal with a glass of the Chianti we had at the bar. This Saturday afternoon was delicious fun- we hope Scarpetta will introduce this pasta making class to the public!
