From June 11-16 and 18-23, explore the vibrant summer flavors around the Art Museum area. Participating restaurants are offering prix fixe multi-course menus ranging from $15-$35 per person. Lucky for you, In Between Rivers braved the heat to scout some favorites for our IBR Insiders
Looking for bold, traditional Mexican flavors to spice up those hot summer nights? Then La Calaca Feliz is the place for you. Chef Timothy Spinner’s hand-crafted menu blends seasonal ingredients with Mexican favorites. Or, if you can’t beat the heat why not cool down with magical margaritas?
La Calaca Feliz is offering a special $25/person Art Museum Restaurant Week dinner menu featuring enticing entrees like ceviche con fresa and baja fish tacos. Two courses and a dessert are included in this special fixed menu.
Fairmount’s London Grill features upscale New American cuisine and has a reputation for innovative menu options. For instance, their Restaurant Week lunch menu boasts both creative dishes like Swordfish Club sandwiches and Duck Salads alongside traditional twists like Meatball Sliders. Even better, they’ll let you swap out your prix fixe lunch starter for a glass of Chardonnay. Take that, soup and salad!
London Grill will offer $15 lunch and $25 dinner menus.
Seek out some southern hospitality at SOUTH, a new southern American and New Orleans inspired Jazz bar contributing to the revival of North Broad street. Enjoy their open kitchen concept, large dining hall, and maybe even treat yourself to some great oysters. Better yet, six nights a week SOUTH hosts exciting jazz performances live in their Jazz Parlor.
So jazz up your restaurant week with a $35 dinner menu (not available on Father’s Day). In Between Rivers is excited to try the Blue Crab Toast, Duck Confit Gumbo, and Braised Short-Rib Pot Roast!
